Heffalump Preschool was established in 1974 with the love and support from our community. Our goal at Heffalump is to prepare children for the next stage of their lives through the development of motor abilities, thinking skills and healthy interactions with their peers. Our unique programs incorporate a variety of educational theories, while always keeping the child’s best interest in mind and allowing for hands-on, experiential learning.

Our Values
Heffalump School is committed to music, art, science, nature and social emotional learning. At Heffalump, children enjoy creative hands-on projects.
Through basic principles of Yoga, our kids learn to look within for happiness and feel the rhythm of the breath to celebrate life.
We have built our own Theater puppet house where we conduct our puppet and theater show.
We believe in nature as our universal teacher and express our gratitude to its five elements: earth, air, water, sun, and space. Children take care of plants and flowers. By observing nature, kids learn about colors, shapes, and the life cycle of plants.

At Heffalump we recognize that twirling, spinning, and dancing is at the core of each child and provide comfortable space to express their joy.

We celebrate diversity - we believe that life on planet earth is about celebrations and joy, we encourage parents to share their festivities and culture and enrich our Heffalump family. We are blessed to have had children from Japan, Russia, China, Israel, India, Korea, Turkey, Ukraine, Spain, China, Germany, France, Italy, Argentina, Egypt, Brazil, England.
Birthday celebrations are made special with creative crafts and fun special games.
